A cozy little fishing experience.

Controls  

Press "Cast" to cast the fishing rod and grab onto the handle of the fishing reel with your mouse. Once the fish bites, spin the reel clockwise to pull the fish closer, but watch out for the stress meter! If the bar fills up, the line will break and the fish will escape. Click on the bucket to see your haul!

The original idea included a storyline following the 'fish god' who falls in love with a fishy from a different lake.

As the fisherman, you are tasked with catching new fish species to upgrade the fish god, who becomes bigger and stronger. He inherits the body parts of the fish you catch. To get the fish god to the faraway pond, you must toss him. This, in turn, gains notoriety. The further you fly, the more media attention and followers fish god gets. More attention = more money. More money = bigger rods! Bigger rods = bigger fish! Bigger fish = the fish god flies further. Bless that guy, he really wants to smash.

This is my first game jam and first time making music, so I might have been a bit too ambitious, as the process took me longer than expected. Happy game jamming, everyone, peace and love. - Tuna
